バーミンガム・ロイヤル・バレエ団附属「エルムハースト・バレエ・スクール（旧エルムハースト・スクール・フォー・ダンス）」の本校入学オーディションの願書受付が始まりました！
12月にThe Wellsの講習会も予定されているエルムハースト・バレエ・スクールの、現地オーディション並びに海外からのビデオオーディションの願書受付が始まっています。学校情報については、The Wellsのホームページで詳しくご紹介しています。
【お申込み方法】
お申込みは願書の郵送により行います。
【対象年齢】
2017年㋈入学時に、11才～18才の間であること。
【イギリス国内予選】
2017年1月～2月に開催されます。
願書〆切：2016年12月2日（金）
【海外からのビデオ・オーディション（予選）】
現在DVDまたはビデオテープの送付によるオーディションです。
願書〆切：2017年1月31日（火）
【最終選考】
イギリス国内予選、またはビデオ・オーディションを通過した方のみ、2017年3月にバーミンガムで開催される最終選考に参加できます。
【出願サポート】
The Wellsでは、留学生サポートのひとつとして、英国バレエ学校オーディションのお申込み、願書提出のお手伝いを有料にて承っております。
サポート申込書をご希望の方は、お問い合わせフォームから、タイトルを「エルムハースト・オーディション・サポート申込書希望」とし、受験生ご本人のご氏名、生年月日、性別をご記入のうえ、どうぞお早目にご連絡ください。〆切間際のお申込みには対応できない場合があります。
【オーディション必勝のための講習会】
現地ロンドンでは、ロイヤル・バレエ・スクールをはじめ、主要バレエ学校はオーディション前のインサイト（オーディション疑似体験）講習会を開催しています。
The Wellsでは今年度の入学オーディションに備え、東京にてオーディション・インサイト講習会を開催いたします。疑似体験だけでなく、細かい注意点も詳しくご指導いたします。また、保護者の方向け、英国留学説明会も同時開催です。（2016年10月8日～10日、対象年齢：11才～19才）

We’re excited for show week this week! ✨ Our annual Winter Showcase runs from the 5-7 December and will see our Senior School students perform a range of works in our main studio. Including extracts from Ronald Hynd’s Coppelia, Northern Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet by Massimo Moricone, Sleeping Beauty and Raymonda. We can’t wait to see our students showcase their talent.

It`s starting to feel a little bit festive...
This winter season we have some exciting things happening in the studios. Rehearsals are underway for our Winter Showcase as well as for the 2025 Ballet Central tour. First glimpses into the programme are coming very soon!
Our Big Give Christmas Challenge launches next week, continuing our campaign from 2023. Our campaign target of £20,000 will go towards welcoming a wider range of young people to the joys of dance.
Preliminary auditions took place throughout November in Scotland, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. They will continue in London, Manchester and Truro in the new year. Looking to audition? Head to the link in bio to register for an in-person or video audition.

Returning to the studio for our next #throwbackthursday, we are delighted to share this image taken in 1983 featuring Carole Gable.
Carole Gable, Founding Patron and Preserver of Christopher Gable’s Legacy and Ethos, was one of Central`s first ballet tutors, is a former Rehearsal Coach for the Ballet Central tour and also was appointed Ballet Mistress before joining the Board of Governors and becoming the Artistic Advisor – Gable Repertoire after her retirement. Carole is consistent part of Central`s history and success over the last 40 years.
Central`s approach to training has remained true to its founding principle, of creating employable dance graduates. The second image shows this training in our studios now, with one of our Ballet Tutors @amyhollins and 2024 graduate Shino Yasunaga.
