英国へのバレエ学校･コンテンポラリーダンス学校への留学支援を専門で行っています。
オーディションなどの主催や手続代行に限らず、中立な目線からの学校選びアドバイスや日本講習会での体験提供から合格後の現地サポート(ガーディアン手配)まで、留学前から卒業後まで、イギリスへのバレエ･ダンス留学についての総合的なサポートを提供しています。
海外留学やサマースクールへに興味がある方へ
年齢や技術的にすぐに留学を考えているわけではないけれど、海外の学校に関する情報や知識を得たいという方のために、小学生から体験可能な講習会開催や投稿記事や公式LINEに基づいた情報提供を行っています。
日本講習会・公式オーディション開催
国内オーディションを行う各校について、あわせて日本講習会も企画開催しています。海外バレエ･ダンスクラスを通訳ありで体験できる貴重な機会として、保護者･指導者の方からも好評を頂いています。学校によってクラス編成は異なりますが、小学生から参加可能な学校もあり、初めて英語でのレッスンを受ける生徒さんにおすすめです。学校側から直接学校情報や指導について直接説明していただけることもあります。
留学期間を安心して過ごしたい方へ
長期留学やサマースクールなどの短期留学が決まった方には、現地ガーディアンが期間中の留学生活をサポートします。滞在先の手配や各種手続き、学校側との連絡内容の確認から健康状態のチェックなど、生徒さんが安心して留学生活を送れるように文字通り現地の保護者となってお手伝いします。

法人化後はじめての自社主催の講習会
セントラル・スクール・オブ・バレエ日本講習会とオーディションを開催。現地から音楽監督も招いて実際のクラスを再現。
生演奏 + 講習会形式のオーディションというThe Wellsのスタイルはこの時から変わりません。
2015年
エルムハースト・バレエ・スクール日本オーディション
講師として来日していただいたディビッド・ヤオ先生は、その後英国スタイル講習会の講師、イングリッシュ・ナショナル・バレエスクールの教師としても来日されています。
2015年
コンテンポラリー・ダンスイベント開催
リー・スマイクル先生をお招きして、子供たちが夏休みに体験できるコンテンポラリーイベントを開催。コンテンポラリー・ダンスについては、今でもトリニティ・ラバン大学やランベール校の講習会などで、日本では貴重な本格的なクラスを国内講習会に招聘しています。
2016年
元ロイヤルバレエ校長ダイアン・ヴァン・スク―ア先生来日
この年からコロナ禍までの期間、毎年元ロイヤル・バレエ・スクール ロウアースクール校長のダイアン・ヴァン・スクーア先生をお招きして、「オーディション・インサイト」と名付けたオーディション合格を目指す講習会を開催。あわせてポーズのアドバイスなどを直接得られる写真撮影会も開催。さらにダイアン先生は日本各地のお教室まで足を運んでワークショップを開催してくださいました。
2017年
ビル・グラスマン先生再来日 / ジャパン・ダンス・インテンシヴ開催
初年度のセントラル・スクール・オブ・バレエ講習会に副校長として来日されたビル・グラスマン先生を特別講師としてご招待し、オリジナル講習会を開催。
2018年
英国スタイルバレエ™講習会開始
「踊るって楽しい」をテーマに、オーディションだけではない英国バレエの魅力を伝えるオリジナル講習会をスタート。元バーミンガム・ロイヤル・バレエ団プリンシパル佐久間奈緒さんを皮切りに、崔由姫さん、ニアマイア・キッシュさん、小林ひかるさん等世界的に活躍されているダンサーを講師にお招きし、実際のレパートリーも体験できる3日間のプログラムです。
2021年
コロナ禍のオンラインプログラム &オーディション
講師来日が不可能となったコロナ禍では、学校側のご協力のもと、オンラインでリアルタイムに行う説明会(オンラインプログラム)やオーディション･講習会を開始。その企画力とセッティングには学校側からも高い評価をいただくことができました。また、現地の学校と日本の生徒や保護者をつないだオンライン説明会も実施しました。
2022年
The Wells Summer School in London
7日間のオリジナルサマースクールを開催。RAD本部スタジオやセントラル・スクール・オブ・バレエのスタジオでのオリジナルサマースクールは16歳から先生方もご参加いただいて大好評でした。2024年にはロンドンに滞在するサマースクールツアー参加者のために、ロイヤル・バレエ団ファーストソリストのチェ・ユフィ先生によるワークショップも行うなど、現地での企画も充実してきています。

ランベール・スクール・オブ・バレエ・アンド・コンテンポラリー・ダンス日本オーディション
引継ぎを受け、日本国内での公式オーディションと講習会を東京都内で開催しました。

アコスタ・アドバンスト・トレーニング・ハブ+16/+18日本オーディション
カルロス・アコスタ率いるアコスタ・アドバンスト・トレーニング・ハブ、初めての日本講習会・オーディションを開催しました。
2024-25年
ポール・ルイス先生来日 2回の講習会 / リアン・マクレー先生来日
ロイヤル・バレエ・スクールの現役教師のポール・ルイス先生とリアン・マクレー先生がオリジナル講習会の講師として来日。オーディション対策と英国バレエの魅力を伝えるという、異なる目的の中でそれぞれに英国最高峰のレッスンを日本国内で行ってくださいました。

Who We Are
Founded in 2014, The Wells Inc. is a Japan-based educational support company specialising in UK vocational dance education.
We work alongside students, parents and UK schools, providing reliable guidance from the earliest stages of school selection and auditions through to student visa applications, departure preparation and ongoing support during a student’s time in the United Kingdom.
Our role is to help students and their families navigate the practical and educational aspects of studying abroad with confidence.
What We Do
The Wells provides comprehensive support throughout the study abroad journey, including:
• Information and guidance on UK vocational dance schools
• Audition and application support
• Student visa guidance
• Pre-departure preparation
• Communication support between students, families and schools
• Translation and interpretation
• Ongoing educational and welfare support during the student’s studies
Every student and every family has different needs. We therefore aim to provide personalised support based on each individual’s circumstances.
Working with UK Schools
Over the years, The Wells has developed trusted working relationships with many respected vocational dance schools throughout the United Kingdom.
We value open communication and close cooperation with schools, recognising that successful international education is built upon mutual trust, understanding and shared commitment to each student’s wellbeing and development.
Independent Local Guardians
Where requested by parents, The Wells may introduce an independent local guardian in the United Kingdom.
The guardian is selected according to the student’s individual circumstances, location and the requirements of the school.
The appointment of the guardian is made directly by the student’s parents.
Each guardian independently accepts responsibility for the student and provides any documentation required by the school or UK authorities, including a Letter of Undertaking where appropriate.
Our Role
The Wells is an educational support company and education agent based in Japan.
We are not a UK Guardianship Organisation and are not affiliated with AEGIS or any other UK guardianship accreditation body.
While we may introduce independent local guardians when requested by families, The Wells does not itself act as a student’s legal guardian.
Our role is to support students and families throughout their educational journey and to facilitate effective communication between parents, schools and, where appropriate, independently appointed local guardians.
