It`s starting to feel a little bit festive...
This winter season we have some exciting things happening in the studios. Rehearsals are underway for our Winter Showcase as well as for the 2025 Ballet Central tour. First glimpses into the programme are coming very soon!
Our Big Give Christmas Challenge launches next week, continuing our campaign from 2023. Our campaign target of £20,000 will go towards welcoming a wider range of young people to the joys of dance.
Preliminary auditions took place throughout November in Scotland, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. They will continue in London, Manchester and Truro in the new year. Looking to audition? Head to the link in bio to register for an in-person or video audition.

Returning to the studio for our next #throwbackthursday, we are delighted to share this image taken in 1983 featuring Carole Gable.
Carole Gable, Founding Patron and Preserver of Christopher Gable’s Legacy and Ethos, was one of Central`s first ballet tutors, is a former Rehearsal Coach for the Ballet Central tour and also was appointed Ballet Mistress before joining the Board of Governors and becoming the Artistic Advisor – Gable Repertoire after her retirement. Carole is consistent part of Central`s history and success over the last 40 years.
Central`s approach to training has remained true to its founding principle, of creating employable dance graduates. The second image shows this training in our studios now, with one of our Ballet Tutors @amyhollins and 2024 graduate Shino Yasunaga.
